Who do you think is the best guitarist from the 1960s-present?
I have a few. Jimmy Page, Angus Young, Mick Mars(because i love his guitar playing haha), and Dave Mustaine

I'm going to have to say Hendrix because he was a great writer, and used his skills in moderation.

I think Hendrix, Uli Jon Roth and Brian May are my personal faves. They're all unique in some way or another. For example Brian May has that signature layered sound with great phrasing, Hendrix generally revolutionized guitar music and Uli combines classical music; Hendrix and shred into a rather nice package.

^He's really sloppy when dragonforce perform live though, and can barely play his own solos as well as he could on their records.
